Also applied to their first cohort of Ad-Am PhD program and got rejected there too.

Rejection letter is just super rude. Who do they think they are? They are not even Ivy League, Harvard, MIT or Johns Hopkins.

Rejected by email. My last choice though. Good luck for those who got interviews

request to have an informal interview via Zoom.

Zoom interview request

I also have a master's degree and a PRL publciation. Bio-th

They email for interview on Jan 27, did the interview on Jan 31. The director of the program did email me with an unofficial offer on feb 5.

Emailed. Update on Portal a few days later. $40k Scholarship

Can they compose their rejection letter more formally and professionally and not sound like they look down on the qualifications of applicants? This is the most impolite rejection letter I have ever seen!

Just don't waste your time, effort, and money applying to Emory unless you have a privileged background, previous degrees from prestigious universities or developed countries, or connections with the program/ faculty prior even if you have an excellent records, LORs, SOPs, or whatever. They said "diversity is of the utmost importance" to their university yet the faculty discriminated against and didn't respect you during interviews.
