Asked to re-apply next year; POI will be on sabbatical but has asked that my file be kept. SO disappointed.

Invited to visiting weekend (March 2 & 3); includes interviews w/ a few profs.

Email with funding information for two years via scholarships and TA! Very excited!

Accepted with 20,000 funding and an incredibly warm and flattering letter of admission!

A little later with the offer than other schools, but the best funding package as of yet ($27 000 excluding external awards). This funding is guaranteed for all 4 years. Considering the offer. Still waiting on U of T and McGill.

strong references, little work experience, TA experience, and undergrad in women's studies

typical rejection email. confused though, mac isn't that good of a school and i have a near perfect gpa. maybe my poi wasn't interested?

3.95 GPA. Strong references. Significant youth work experience (approx. equivalent- 2 years full time). Currently involved in 2 research projects.

They feel I dun meet the minimum criteria. I don't know why, I got A in many sciences courses, few B,good research experience, and many volunteer activities. But I dun have good grade in humanities courses, that can be the reason? Any recommendations?P/S: Anyone know if they convert GPA with different system scale?
