Thank you for applying to the Rutgers School of Public Health. This year's applicant pool was highly competitive, and we had more qualified and excellent applicants than Ph.D. slots available. We attempted to match as many students with faculty as possible. However, I am sorry to inform you that we cannot offer you admission to the Ph.D. in Public Health program. We are proud that we can attract excellent applicants like you and hope you will continue your search for a doctoral program. We wish you the very best in your academic pursuits.

Received an email from the chair of graduate studies.

I thought the interview was going great... but maybe it's because of the small cohort setting?

no GRE, no interview
