Unofficial acceptance from POI. Official decision is expected to come in a few weeks. Straight A's in major field during the last two undergraduate years, 3 years' research experience in sediment transport (1 oral presentation, and 2 manuscripts in preparation), 3 strong letters.

Got an e-mail. "At this time you are being considered for financial support. Based on your record and hiring needs of our faculty, it is likely that you will transition into a research assistantship" No other details of funding.

Nothing about funding is there in graduate offer letter on portal. I think I have to contact dept. or prof. for funding (RAship/TAship). Good luck for others.

Admitted on 1/31, grad school formally accepted, invited to visit in March, and funding offer received 2/9. Found a professor. Undergrad research experience and 1 conference.

Just Checked the website where a statement told me I would be receiving an official letter in the mail soon.

3 papers in high impact journals (two first author); 1 paper in a good journal (first author); several conference papers. So sad! I do not know why they reject me... Congrats to those admitted.

Bachelors in biochemistry. Got email from ME department that I was recommended for admissions. I went to the grad school office directly and they told me I was accepted.

Had an interview with POI two weeks ago. I was told after the interview that I will receive admission, but it took two weeks for them to send the official offer. Good luck to everyone.

Expected, Bad GRE but high GPA

Had three internship positions. Only two of which directly aerospace related. Volunteer experience but no real research experience. First year tuition and health insurance waved as well as 20K teaching assistantship.

Contacted POI with medium response from his side. Decent GPA, German internship at TU9, good LOR's, medium GRE.....but anyways one of my ambitious choice. 1st rejection... I have received admit from University of Minnesota and waiting from others.

I've received acceptance from NCSU, a really good professor from Minnesota said my record is truly excellent, but his group is full. Now the choices are narrow....
