5:00pm. Based on people's profiles that said they were rejected, I think what made me stand out were great LORs and a long term impact focused SOP connecting my interests to Stanford organizations. I don't rlly know tho

Found this letter in my You.usc.edu portal. What a tragedy as they didn't even bother to interview me even though I was more than qualified. Dear BAH BAH BAH, I am writing in regard to your application for admission to graduate study at the University of Southern California. After careful review of your application and supporting materials, the Admission Committee has asked me to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission to the Doctor of Philosophy program in Media Arts and Practice for Fall 2026. We understand this must be very disappointing news. Please bear in mind that each year the university receives applications from many more students than it can accommodate. Admissibility is determined by the size of the applicant pool as well as student credentials. Unfortunately, as a result we are not able to offer admission to some students of significant ability and potential. We encourage you to continue to work toward your educational and professional goals, and wish you every success in your future endeavors. Sincerely, you.usc.edu Timothy E. Brunold Dean of Admission

Ignore. Waitlist. Any news from Wayne state university?

Dear ASE Applicant, All three of our admissions slots have been filled for this cycle, which means that we will not be able to extend you an offer to join our PhD program this year. We wish that, as in prior years, we were able to admit more students. However, given the current financial landscape in universities across the country, this was not possible. Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about you and your work. We wish you only the very best moving forward.
