Ladies and gentlemen! Has anyone heard of the UC Irvine wait list has moved? If you're holding on to an offer but will not attend please help us move the WL along, folks. Thank you! For some reason, I cannot see comments, please reply to me (if you plan to) as another post and refer to my post.

Ignore Waitlist: Please specify MS CS or MCS while uploading the result. Thank you!

Really hoping to get admitted off the waitlist! Thank you in advance to anyone who notifies UCI if they know they're choosing another program

Hey friends, please please please reject UC Irvine if you have better options. Thank you in advance you will receive great karma! :)

Already knew this was a rejection. Timeline: on 3/5, I knew all initial offers were already out, although waitlisted students were not notified. Seems like they don't notify waitlisted people, just wait to see if their initial offers are accepted. Emailed a few days later to see if I was on the waitlist, and got some nice compliments from a faculty member on a piece but the email implied I was rejected. Portal update 4/1 with the rejection letter.

MS GPA: 4.00. T98. Publications: 1 first author; 1 second author; 1 second author (under review). 3 Conference experiences. 2 TA experiences. 4 Outstanding student scholarships. Contacted the professor before applying and got a positive reply. During the interview, the professor was 40 minutes late, and even though he told me that I was on the list, I was still rejected, it was very strange.
