German applicant with UK undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics

MSc Economics(1-year). Korean applicant. The decision was made earlier than I expected. It was my first choice followed by EME.

Quite early

Conditional offer (conditions: official documents and English test). Majored in Computer Science at a top uni in Asia. Was a General Course student for a year before applying, I assume this helps my application a lot. Application submitted and confirmed on 22 Oct, so I guess LSE is pretty good at keeping the 8-week-decision promise.

Applied on Oct 19 (received LSE For You ID). Took 8 weeks+1 working day to hear back. No GSS.

Just received a conditional offer! (the conditions are that I graduate with a 2:1 honour on time) I'm from a top uni in Asia, majors: economics and finance, GPA: 3.49/4.30 (high upper second class honour in the British system), toefl: 111, decent references, internship with UNICEF China, an A+ from LSE Summer School 2016. this is one of my dream programmes and my first acceptance and I'm hyper excited rn!

Economics major from average (top 100) American university. Applied to MSc International Health Policy in late April, notified by department mid May that I may be better suited for Global Health Policy program based on application materials.

Applied in early march. Late application and a hurried SoP seem to have been my undoing.

Rejected from my first choice after 6 weeks waiting.

Accepted after being rejected for 1st choice and being waitlisted for 4 months. No relevant work experience (unrelated charity work and internship), predicted 1st class from an average UK university, (I guess) strong LOR's. Personal statement was tailored for the 1st choice but apparently was good enough for this course too :D

Congrats on the offer from LSE for the MSc in Culture and Society.May I ask when did you apply and when you got the ID?

Checked portal today and finally the status was changed from "Under consideration" to "accepted." Have a conditional offer, but unfortunately no scholarship. Thank God I have good offer packages from Duke and University of Chicago.

You below me, I applied in late March and still waiting.... Hope I get a response this week so I can start looking for accommodation for LSE or my second choice. Wbu?

The course you applied for has reached its quota. Your application has been placed in a reserve group which will be re-considered should a place become available. You will be notified of a final decision after August 12th. I am wondering how it is likely to receive the offer after 12th Aug, also what is the difference between a reserve group & rejection?

Waited 13 weeks and received a rejection - so the idea that them making you wait this long means it's an acceptance is not true. Waiting for my second option now.
