To Posters Below - MPhil Economics Rejections/Acceptance, could you please share when did you submit your application? Thanks

No update between submission and today (4 months later) except for an email in February which seemed to imply an offer was forthcoming. I received an offer with funding from Oxford who were much more prompt and professional in communications- so this is no great loss. Since Cambridge claim all offers will be made by the end of April I encourage anyone still awaiting a response to check their applicant portal.

Given a conditional offer for an MPhil in Polar Studies, I am a Canadian citizen and no decision on funding has been declared yet

Received an email saying that my application is “put on hold” - decision is towards end of June or later. Likely a rejection in the end. Applied 22 Jan 2021. No interview. Fortunately got PAO-ed recently by a PhD program from another Cambridge department, so I don't mind being rejected by Chemistry.

Disappointing to have waited so long just for rejection

Applied February 18th, rejected without interview

Rejected through portal. No email sent. Shouldn't have gone Bath University, should have gone Exeter

REJECTED. Not sure why, had a great GPA from Syracuse in Econ.

Applied on 31st March, still on review by degree department (27/4)

TTPB: Thank you for the reassurance! Was your funding from the Trust, the department, or your PI? Was nominated to the Trust but still waiting on funding. My PI has only told me that he does not have any funding and has not mentioned CL funding, which is why I'm nervous.

Interviewed by PI on 14 April 2021. Portal status changed to "under review by Degree Committee" 25 April 2021. Departmental review took about 10 weeks since submission.
