Ignore status. Any updates on UCLA & Northwestern admissions? I reached out yesterday but haven't received any substantial information yet. Wondering if anyone else is still waiting?

Anyone heard back about funding for UCLA MURP? I was told if I didn't hear back about fellowship funding within two weeks I wouldn't get any and alas it's been two weeks lol

Wow. Really? I already knew they rejected me, then they sent me 2 - not 1 but 2 - reminders to tell me to read the letter - some BS about competitiveness. PhD programs are competitive everywhere. Whoever gets accepted will learn to survive naturally. Cutthroatness is the lamest reason a program can give for rejection, seriously and sincerely.

CMT. No GRE/sGRE. 1 preprint, 3 years of CMX research, 6 months of CMT research. No interview. GPA: 4.05/4.3 = 3.77/4.0

"Our faculty were impressed by your research, writing, and credentials. The size of our program is limited, and we are able to admit only a few students per year. We regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission this year. "
