I got an email today from a professor that I am interested in RA position or not. Refused his offer because I already accepted other offer. I hope this helps for someone who are still waiting for purdue ME graduate program.

Sent about four emails to ask about my status, got zero response. Purdue does not even have the decency to formally reject its applicants. (The only email from them after I submitted my application is an automated happy birthday email) Even Penn State start to send emails about your application status this year.

To the poster below: I have sent the email to their office and got an unofficial rejection, she told me all positions have been filled. So I think we shouldn't wait for any good news.

To the poster below they told me that everyone will be informed of a decision before or on April 1st. So looks like I need to email them again. It's kind of ridiculous

This is a time reference for future applicants. I was never contacted by PIs. On March 12th I informed the dept that I was no longer pursuing entry into the program on account of another program's suitable offer. Today, I received official confirmation that I was not accepted. Staff were courteous and prompt.

Purdue is good in Civil, but it still feels weird that I got admitted into Cornell and UIUC but rejected by Purdue......

10 days after the deadline they finally sent an answer

I asked one of the admitted student and he told me that the deadline to accept offer is 1st June. So may be we have to wait that long. Most of the universities have April 15th deadline, so if they didn't reject purdue yet means they are going to Purdue Only. And ofcourse, It is too late to expect any good news. Sigh!
