Sorry, my submission got messed up! I meant to mention that I was offered a TAship (tuition waiver, health insurance, and $800/month stipened). I formally declined their offer last Friday. Good luck!

To the UMass poster below for art history: I know that they are waiting to hear back from their first round of students. I was accepted in early March and their deadline for acceptance is April 15th. However

TA+RA= 21k, minus what looks like a $1,700 tuition differential per year. Good but not great.

I was told yesterday that I was not admitted, but I just received an e-mail saying that there was a mistake and that I AM admitted, and in the waitlist for TAship.

I e-mailed to ask and was informed that I was not accepted. Indiana, here I go!!!

Randomly checked website; they never contacted me. I already accepted somewhere else.

I emailed them, begging to be informed about my status. They replied saying that if I am admitted, I'll "definitely" be informed before the 15th of April.

Your application has been forwarded to the graduate faculty in your desired program of study for their consideration. At the present time the Graduate Admissions Office is awaiting the conclusion of that review process and the recommendation in regard to your admission. Any one accepted?

I'm really glad they waited until the last day of March to tell me I was rejected.

To the person who was accepted to UMass Amherst Cognitive Psychology Language and Cognition track, are you planning to attend? Who are you trying to work for? Please let them know if you do not plan to attend!

They sent me an email and letter acceptance at the beginning of March, and just followed up with funding.
