Sent email to check portal. Undergrad GPA: 3.7. Masters GPA: 4.0. 4.5 years of research experience.

Did prelim zoom interview with chosen PI, waitlisted for in person interview. Ultimately rejected. 4.0 GPA, Honors Thesis in prep, one presentation

Got an email to check my status... my first rejection out of 9 applications. Already have 2 offers, 1 waitlist.... congratulations to those who got a spot.

Email received from the School of Social Work stating acceptance into PhD program. Official letter of acceptance to come in upcoming days.

Ignore the status, did anybody hear back from admissions team, I guess the interview day is over, but I did not get any response or update on my application. Is it just me or anybody else in same boat?

I have been in contact with the graduate director. She was very kind in informing me about the rejection. Fortunately, I have two other good offers to choose from.

Generic denial letter sent via email, although like every place, they are just so grateful to us for applying. They offered an admission to their MSW, which I turned down because in isolation (and with potential costs) it doesn't align with my current research agenda. Best of luck to the folks who did get in - it's a great program!
