Is there anybody waiting for a result from UCB ME MS/PhD program? The last posting was someone got accepted around April 15th.

I'm the guy who said two below (for UT-Austin) that I'm really hoping my one waitlisting works out. It didn't––rejected off the waitlist. Sucks, but what can you do

This year we received more qualified applicants than we were able to admit, making the decision process extremely difficult. The admissions committee felt that your application was competitive, and would like to offer you a place on our waitlist. The waitlist is not ranked, and we will begin reviewing waitlisted applicants on the April 16th. We plan to notify applicants on our waitlist of our admission decision no later than April 20th.

Am I the only one who hasn't received the decision yet? April 15th is almost there.

Has anyone received acceptance after being waitlisted? When do they usually send out the results?

I checked website and saw the status update, but with no email notification.

Anyone knows what's going on? I mailed the department 10 days ago and the reply said that decisions would be made by the end of March...

Got the same reply: -----"By now all decisions have been made. I would suggest you look at other offers."

I sent an email to the department. They Told me all decisions have been made and I should look at other offers. They don't even bother sending a rejection letter and make our decision-process easier.

Anybody got into the GeoSystem program? I've been waiting for 3 months and never heard from Berkeley.

No chance of being accepted? I have contacted long time ago a professor who had informed me that he is interested in taking me as one of his students. I don’t know why it has taken so much time to receive an email of acceptance.

To the poster below and below: To be honest, according to the results of past few years, if you did not receive anything, it may mean rejection. At the same time, I asked Yawo about the long waiting time for results and he only told me he was always busy sending results (especially rejection) and could not send all of them in one day.
