Got an email from POI I emailed earlier this semester and included in my application, asking to speak on the phone. Told me that I was a likely admit, email coming soon. 1.5 years of research experience, 1 pub, major and minor

got an email saying i was accepted. 2 years of undergrad research. direct entry to phd for organic. no publications. did not have an interview.

Received a text message from a PI I name-dropped in my application as a POI. Asked me to chat with them and got the news!!!

Invitation to attend visit weekend, letter stated the vast majority of students invited to interview weekends are offered admission

When I went to check my application status, it was showing 'Denied'.

Received a fully-funded scholarship from the government. No publication.
