Got an email from DGS. Had an interview with POI in early January. First acceptance, super excited!!!

Quite disappointed. But the good thing is they offered another chance in the Advanced Masters program (1 year).

Application has been processed in 3 weeks. 2 papers (Elsevier), 3 aerospace oriented projects, internship at Berkeley ITS.

Got full funding offer for 5 years of PhD.

Current student here, do not join Deborah Levin's lab. She is toxic, abusive, and unprofessional to her students, especially her international students. You will have a more fulfilling Ph.D. with anyone else as well as better advising.
