Application was to Center for Data Science, part of Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS), not Tandon or Courant. Had 1 pub and a few academic and professional internships under my belt.

I had 2.5 years of work experience as a Data Scientist at the time of applying and one research paper

Very surprised by the outcome. I got into every school I applied to (competitive ones included)

Ignore waitlist status. Have anybody who had an interview on February heard about anything?

Applied from Boston University with a 3.50 GPA, and 1 year relevant data research experience. Got my undergrad data science degree from UCSD and worked as a data scientist for 3 years

3.5 years of professional work exp. as Data Scientist, international certificates, 1 paper, ielts8

I cried right after getting the decision. Too sad.

PhD in chemistry, self taught coding, 1 year of postdoc + 2 years of working experience data related. Strong letters of rec. What's even funnier is I got my PhD from UCSD lol
