I originally applied for Fall 2016. I was told that I could take two grad classes at SIS as a non-degree and could reapply for Spring 2017. I submitted my mid-term grades in my two grad classes (currently a 4.0). Got the e-mail to check my portal this morning!

Turkish applicant from METU. Off the waitlist.

Off the waitlist.

Got an email notification. While the website says that the research studentship results will be released in June, apparently my application was unsuccessful as they've already offered the one studentship for the department to someone else (they might reject it, but given that there's only one for all the PhD candidates in the department, odds of me getting it aren't great).

Gpa is grad. Accepted after being top 3 on waitlist. Was interviewed by DGS. Had a nice chat and was told was accepted. Waiver of tuition and stipend of 18k. Excited!

In off the wait list!! Official offer letter with full funding to follow! This was my top choice!

To the post below. I am also waitlisted, and have been on the WL for almost two months. It seems that quite a few people are on the list.

50% tuition scholarship, but need full and possibly stipend. MA in Gender Studies from SOAS, London and in Social Sciences from Humboldt, Berlin. Given until April 22 to decide.

Received an e-mail from the Department that my application for a D.Phil was 'unsuccessful'. Possess many years of practical experience, multiple graduate degrees and serveral commercial publications. My applcation was a 'long shot', my Plan B is a Master's Degree in History from a university in the USA with zero 'BS'. Don't need the Oxford degree per se, comfortably retired and living the good life.

No email just checked.

I am so happy! Good luck to you all.
