Deliberations have been going on for a while -- PhD students in my lab have been gone for hours at a time to help the admissions committee. I assume that if they told me that admissions decisions were finalized, it means that they'll release them soon.

TTPB: "Interviews" are necessary but the Stanford committee has a wide definition for interview. If a faculty had met you somewhere in person, it can count as an interview. If you ask them they would say no, interviews are not necessary but as far as I researched, for admission you should have been interviewed or talked to them in some other way.

Does no interview mean rejection? Are there any cases where people are admitted without interview?

Does anyone know (through their poi maybe during interview) when the CS PhD decisions are expected?

Interviewed for HCI on Monday, 2/3. Prof said results for HCI will be released 2/6 or this weekend at the latest.

To all interview posters: is anyone in computational biology (the "biocomputation" track)?

Does anyone still have a pending interview scheduled *after* Tuesday Feb. 4?

Had my interview today with a professor in HCI. Professor told me results will be out a couple weeks from today.
