first rejection! email to check portal 1a/1w/1i/3p

I got a generic rejection letter, but a few minutes later I got a very nice email from the DGS explaining that they liked my application but lost the dedicated faculty member in my subfield. huge L 0a/1i/4r/3p

In case others were not aware, I have found out that Washington has no intention of accepting any PhD applicants and has not since early last fall. I have heard nothing official from Washington, and my only comfort is that my application fee was waived so I didn't give them my money. Sorry to everyone who applied.

If anyone got into the M3D program at UW and you don't want to go, please decline the acceptance, as this is the only school I applied to. Thank you!

I got an email telling me to check the application portal. It was rejection (no interview). I have one international conference and two journals (under review).
