I earlier got mail to wait till 5 but I kept on checking portal and voila it's an admit!

I applied on Feb 1st and I too got last week's mail stating that "decisions will be out over next few weeks" but didn't get any today

Calm down guys... With these many emails, they are probably rejects!!!

I applied on the deadline day. I received both the "wait for decisions" and "result available at 5" email. I am so scared right now.

To the applicant who submitted on Jan 25: I submitted around Jan 29, received both last week's and today's email.

Question: Could this wave have both admits and rejects? I mean ik the last wave was only admits, but last year I believe both admit and rejects came on the same day.

Received the same email as others below. Fearing the worst though given that I have been rejected by a couple of target unis and GA Tech was more on the dream side.

I thought that Gatech is sending results by the submission dates. To people who received the '5 pm' email, could you provide the information when you submitted your application?
