TTPsB: The email came in around 5:30 pm PST yesterday. To the best of my knowledge, Stanford interviews all the applicants that they are considering for admission. Maybe email the dept admissions/coordinator?

If I did not have an interview, what chance do I have of being accepted for the Bioengineering program? Are there cases in the Bioengineering department where there ISN'T an interview and they are accepted directly into the program?

Just got the email, so excited! Was interviewed 1/28-2/1.

I reached to my POI and they responded "Many thanks for your interest in my lab. Unfortunately, I have already accepted two Ph.D. students for the fall term. I'm very sorry that I am unable to take on additional mentees this admissions cycle." With that being said, I am pretty sure we are just waiting for a rejection letter to be sent out if you have yet to hear from them. Best of luck to everyone!

Got interview invite from 7 Tesla (T) Bioengineering Program Coordinator. Feb 19-21. It seems that they didn't invite me at the first round. Had two informal chats with two PIs. I am sure they helped me by nominating my name to the department. Two MS, EE and BME, from R1 unis. Two 1st author journals, one 2nd author.

I have not heard anything. No request for an interview, no acceptance, rejection, or waitlisted email. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I got the same virtual event email. I asked if the event was with respect to my Fall 2021 application or if the event is just a general information session independent of my application. The office of graduate admissions responded, "You were invited to this event because you applied to the Bioengineering PhD program. The event is being offered by the School not the Bioengineering department and has no bearing on your application's decision."

Emailed the admission office yesterday and they told me decisions will come out very soon, so hopefully this week.

TTPB: I emailed yesterday and the admissions rep told me we would hear "in the coming days," so, I assume that means by the end of this week. We will see. Unfortunately, I did not get an interview, so I imagine it will not be good news for me. Best of luck to all who interviewed!
