(ignore waitlist) no answer to multiple emails here. it does not paint the department in a good light given how they did not even offer a brief update - stanford's total silence is at this point disrespectful. given that last year the deadline was ONE MONTH later but they still managed to give out all the offers by now is telling. also, know that last year the cohort size was cut in half because of deferrals they had from 2020 (not because there was suddenly such an immense increase in applicants as the website states).

I'm sure they at least have the reject list for some of the group - why not send rejections? Anyone here understand how they process decisions? Has it truly been dead silent for everyone after the Feb 10th "25% update" on the checklist? Not sure why they cannot provide a brief update given they are two weeks late.

Decided to post only because of the all traction this program is getting here. I applied for the OR/CSS group and got interviewed in late January. Also, I'm not sure if they have sent out all the acceptances for these groups. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

IGNORE WAITLIST STATUS. I reached out to the admissions office through their contact form on Monday 2/21 and have received no response. They don't list a phone number on their website. I have no idea when they plan to send decisions. We're headed into March now! The applyweb checklist has read “25% of decisions have been made” for 3 weeks. When are the rest going to be made? This is much later than previous years afaik. Do they usually interview or anything? Has anyone heard from the Operations Research group at MSE?

For MS&E (Management Science & Engineering) Fall 2022 applications, it is said that "GRE scores are OPTIONAL". This is a nightmare. Last year, I submitted a 330 GRE score and was rejected. Did ANYONE been ADMITTED last year WITHOUT submitting GRE scores (all Departments included)??? Please let us know if you heard of anymore admitted to any MS program that stated GRE as OPTIONAL.

Is anyone else still waiting for the result? What is the probability to be admitted from the waiting list?

I'm just curious what kind of applicants they are looking for. Many candidates with almost perfect background have been rejected this year.

Phd waitlist here. My waitlist email said that I would be considered for Masters if I indicated so in my app (which I did), but I haven't heard back and the site is saying all masters decisions are out. Does anyone know of my situation?

International student. Top 3 IIT in India. 9/10 GPA, 1 publication. 1.5 years in MBB, 1.5 years in PM.

Had nearly perfect GPA, good GRE scores... but no work experience. Exceptional LORs and 1 published paper. Around 5 internships in undergrad. Maybe not good enough! Good luck to those who got in! :)

I'm wait listed but I won't attend. The thing is that with covid-19, most of the MS&E courses I'm interested in will be offered online and I will miss the person to person interaction that made me apply to this program in the first place. Better take the same six MS&E courses through the SCPD for 30K tuition and keep working on my startup idea rather than going after the full online MS&E Master degree requirements that will cost me 120K. So, I won't attend even if offered admission in the coming weeks.

Got rejection email around noon PT. 7 YOE in front office finance - math/cs undergrad degree from Ivy, took 1 SCPD course & applied for HCP. Congrats to those who got in!

Expected! Low GRE, everything else was close to perfect. Congratulations to all those admitted, and for future applicants, you can't compensate one thing with something else. Do your best in every aspect of your application. Good luck!
