Did anyone hear back from the department recently?

Officially admitted. contacted by PI by email to check my status and informing that I was admitted into the program. Good luck

TTPB: I think all available positions are taken, and notifications for rejection is all we have to face. No more hopes for us I suppose...

I see that Purdue has host "prospective graduate students on campus visiting" at the end of Feb. Does this mean most of the offers have been issued?

TTPB: I am also waiting for a decision from Purdue and Rice. Haven't been interviewed by either of these, so that's an indication of being rejected.

TTPB: Didn't hear anything after March 20th. They only replied "will notify students after all process are finished." To the poster, did you receive any news from them aside from this one? Also, are there any international applicants, especially Koreans who got offer from MSE in this year?

Have the offers of Purdue all been made? Besides, does anyone hear from Umich, UF, Upenn, CWU, NCSU?

Received an invitation for a phone interview on 3/20/2020. The interviewer said that the whole admission process was affected by the virus outbreak but they were about to wrap up.

TTPB: I haven't also heard from the department. Had no interview either. Most probably a rejection.

Has anyone heard from the MSE department at Purdue? I knew one received offer on March 18th.

Was interviewed two weeks back and this week the offer came! I'm excited!

TTPB: Same question was in my head too. Asked committee about the result, and they said they are still in reviewing all applicants. I'm not sure admits who wrote here were in 1st round, but officially, they did not finish their 1st round yet. Just as you, I'm still waiting for the result. Good luck!

Has Purdue released all admission offers? Haven't heard back from Rice either. Rejections seem eminent now. :(
