Got an email around 5:20 PM EST!!

political theory

Canadian Applicant. 2 applications, 2 acceptances.

Notified via email 1PM PST. Rejected due to lack of funding. Invited to apply to Master of Arts in Political Science, Concentration in United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA). Subfield: Comparative, LatAm.

Recommended to apply to the MA program.

Notified by email (subject line "Admission to Rutgers's University"??????????) but invited to apply to the UNMA program.

Well I don't know where this is going. I thought I was a good fit, and maybe I am learning what a fit actually means. I don't know. It's the 5th rejection I received with no acceptance (0a/5r/0w/6p and will apply to more programs). The thing is I cannot even get upset about it because the world's situation is getting even worse each day. Good luck everyone and congratulations to those received an admission. Stay safe

Rejected via email, but recommended to apply for the MA program

Got in and first on waitlist for funding! I can't go to grad school without funding so praying it falls to me.

!!!!!!!! Funding isn't defined (seemingly it'll be decided later?), but I'm thrilled! Generally CP/IR subfields (Oxford doesn't seem to define them). 2a/1w/1i/5r/2p.

Elated. No funding yet- need to wait out for the funding rounds but thankful to God for this opportunity :))
