congrats to the JHU poster! How were you contacted? Do you think if we haven't received word we should count it as a rejection?

So thrilled!

Email from POI

Response to below: Received an email from poi!

Last year their deadline was Jan 1, according to Petersons, so if they are on the same schedule, this is just about the very earliest they'd be reaching out. POI informally told me it would likely be early March but who knows.

Has anyone heard from Johns Hopkins?

I wrote them asking

Interview was on Friday, accepted on Wednesday :) official offer letter followed by emails from POIs a few hours later.

To the query of Johns Hopkins below- Thanks! Got notified through an informal email from POI. It is one of the two top choices I had. I declined with a heavy heart and taking up Yale. Best wishes to the waitlisted candidate.

To the posters below: congrats! What are the initials of your POI?

To the poster below - Congratulations! I just had my interview. Any clue as to why they're staggering out interviews/acceptances? How does this work?!

Informal email from POI

Informal email from my POI. Very excited!

Email from my POI. Phone interview.

To the poster below: Congrats! Who contacted you?

Email from faculty member. They apparently assign profs at random for interviews.
