Applied to MSCS but got accepted to MSSE. My profile is GRE 331, CGPA 7.46//10, Undergrad in CS, IELTS 8, 1.5yrs work exp, 2 years research exp, and 4 research papers in top conferences and journals

3 IEEE papers; 3 years work ex as a developer; 1 research internship; 1 professional internship;

Didn't get any email so found out a couple of days later when I randomly opened the MyASU web portal. I had applied for MS in Computer Science but was admitted to Software Engg. as the AdCom believed that I was a better fit for the latter. I'd suggest that all applicants keep randomly checking the portal because I'm not sure if the emails are going through, all the best guys!

(Ignore Waitlist) Disgrace on the ADMISSION COMMITTEE! Paid 140 bucks on 12th Dec for this disgusting review procedure, but I cannot even get a result after 4 months! This is really discourteous. They definitely should learn how to treat their applicants.

They told me I was welcome for application, even had a seemingly favourable interview, still rejected. Avoid.

Waitlist to AD. 3 SDE Internship, includes MS and Google. No publication. I think I got the ad is credited to my working experience.

Accepted to the MS Software Engineering in Silicon Valley. Really happy for the offer but already payed my deposit for Columbia MS CS and will be headed there instead.
