A few sad

Rejected from PhD but offered admission to MSE.

Applied for electric propulsion PhD, got into masters. Three years of lab work, in progress research paper. Wishing the best to those still waiting for decisions, it’s a crazy year.

Disappointed since it was my top choice and the last to get decisions out :/

Invited to virtual graduate recruiting weekend as top applicant. Had a session with PI, got congratulatory email from assistant head of grad studies. Grateful to God for the opportunity!

2yrs of industry experience. Prior alumni. 3 letters of rec.

Didn't submit GRE

Conditional offer until i submit my final bachelor's degree

Conditionally accepted (needs final transcript). I only got it in because I luckily read the whole website, where they mandate a survey that you have to take before submitting your application. I appreciate the whole streamlined process tho (multiple swedish unis under one common application portal).

2 first author papers, 1 relevant internship. Honestly surprised by rejection, was reached out to by faculty who seemed very interested. I got better offers, but surprised
