first of all, the decision is super late. second, they didn't send an email or anything, checked portal and there was a one sentence response. "Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission." rutgers is a fucking mess and I'm glad I dodged this bullet

Despite being super late, the emailed rejection letter was actually very nice (compared to other schools). It says, "Thank you for your application to the MFA program at Rutgers University—Camden. We've read your application with great interest. Unfortunately, we're unable to recommend your admission at this time. Competition for admission was especially intense this year. Our program is very small, which means we had to turn away many promising applicants. Please don't take the admissions decision as discouragement about your writing. We truly wish it were possible to accommodate more writers at this time. Please accept all our best wishes for your future work. Thank you again."

Full tuition waiver and a 30,000 dollars stipend.

I was informed that I had been placed on the waitlist. No update after then. Does anyone hear from this program?

Was initially waitlisted with a good rank. I was in touch with the grad coordinator, and shout out to him for being prompt with his responses. Feel dejected to not get into Rutgers, wanted to explore some logic and set theory there but anyways we move on.

Has anyone heard anything since MAP interview day?

Ignore. Does anyone know whats going on Rutgers?

A lot of employees are striking and it looks like the situation is not good there, I wonder when we get any updates from this Uni.

Any movement from Rutgers acceptances? This is my first choice and i'm maybe too hopeful about getting off…

Application transferred from New Brunswick. Accepted into ecology lab prior to admission.

Checked the website. Was waitlisted then rejected!

Please decline as soon as possible if you do not intend to attend. Thank you

Had interview on Feb. 3, waitlisted on Feb. 19.

Ignore. people are getting rejections from Rutgers but there has been no update on my application status. Should I be expecting a rejection then or ? Is there a hidden waitlist?

I got an email from the director of the program telling me I was denied which was really nice. I appreciated it a lot.

Ignore. Did anyone get an offer letter or wait-listed mail?

GPA is grad, no GRE. I just rejected my funded offer, so hopefully someone on the waitlist gets good news soon.

Didn't receive any email. On Portal status went from Application Submitted to Decesion Made directly.
