No words about funding yet as of 8th March

Got an email recommending me to the Direct Ph.D. degree. Got better admits so will reject

Professor contacted 2 weeks before this.

Assigned professor emailed me two weeks ago, saying it’s rare to receive funding for the first year

TTPB, I haven't received any message from them so far. Cannot say who's got better chance. Anyway, it's a good idea to discuss these in the forum rather than here. Cheers and all the best.

Received the trailing email from PurdueME, does it mean my chances of getting accepted for MSME are low? Or is it just a generic email sent to all MSME applicants? Got an unofficial mail from the department saying that I was recommended for admission for their professional masters degree, though I had applied for their Master's of science degree, I don't if I should accept this admission. Did this happen to anyone else??

Got an email saying that the application decision is available. No information regarding funding or advisorship. Accepting Michigan instead anyway so probably won't pursue it much further. Experience: Masters degree from a top 30 worldwide AeroE school, 2 first author pubs (1 journal, 1 conference), 2 co-author conference pubs.
