this one actually hurt. It was so definitely my #1 choice. I got a personal ish email saying they wanted to email me before I got the auto-generated reply so I'd have more time to make decisions, they were upset they couldn't take more people, etc. Oh well. 0a/1w/11r/2p

2a/2w/11r/7p it's not much but it's something, let's see if there is any funding around here.

Letter postmarked for the 5th

I emailed TT about two weeks ago to inquire about the status of my application. When I didn't hear back, I assumed it was a rejection. However, I received an email last night telling me that I'm actually on the waitlist. If you still haven't heard back from Texas Tech, I'd suggest emailing them to ask what your status is—I'd have never known I was waitlisted otherwise. 3a/3w/3r/1p

Not surprising, given the program's most recently declared direction. 0a/0w/4r/2p

Hey, I posted that I got waitlisted here but wanted to reiterate that if youre getting in somewhere else thats so totally wonderful and you DONT want to be here, pppllssss reject their offer PLEASE. like john mulaney once said: "i am very tired....and i have no money."

Postmarked letter from March 5

The admission letter was dated for 3/11 but I wasn't emailed until two days later. Very excited!

This stings pretty bad given last year's frankly embarrassing manuscript was enough to place me on the wait list.
