Did interview but was rejected

IGNORE STATUS. Has anyone received an interview from Yale?

Interviewed in Jan

Had interview with prof in early Jan

CP. Got a notification about portal update, so assumed rejection at first, thought my GRE scores were comparatively low, plus I don’t think I have a lot of experience, but still got in, so hope this might inspire someone (or at least make people less anxious)

Ofc it didn't work out. 0A/6R/0W/2P. I am leaving academia

Interviewed by PI in January, got realy positive feedback, but still fail (maybe because my low GPA...

CP subfield. GPA is grad (0A/1WL/8R)

Interview with PI in Jan, went very well Sent follow-up email on 02/13, was told admissions were coming soon and that we would speak after they came.

Bummer, but Yale reaching a decision will hopefully clear people in front of me on my other waitlists.

CP subfield.

YSE PhD. Waitlisted 1 month after interview. Apparently they are 16 spots, 5WL, for 375+ apps.

Undergrad GPA (Mechanical Engineering 2.75), GPA listed is Master's in IR. Applied to the IR subfield as a joint degree with YLS. Had Letters of Rec from a former US attorney General, a yale law school alum/graduate professor and thesis supervisor, and a professor from undergrad.

Though that was a good fit...

I received a notification to check my results on the website. I have high grades, publications, research and teaching experience. I had all my hopes in this university. Good luck to everyone!
