3.89 GPA, 4.0 CSD. Research, leadership, volunteering, and TA/LA experience. Lots of shadowing. California schools are tough, and I am out of state. So, I"m not surprised!

Um just to answer the last question, I have not heard back from Scripps since the Open House last month. When I spoked to my PI then, it seemed as if the committee would be making decisions in March for AOS.

Re: UCSD has done sending offers long time ago. Better look for other options if you have any. They are just too busy to send out rejection letters.

Offered a GA, planning on accepting within the next two weeks!

Accepted with GA funding!!

Offered GA and Scholarship with Letter of Admission. Will be turning down so someone else can have the spot!!!

Received notification from PI

Notified Sunday evening that I have been nominated for the program. I will be awaiting funding information before ultimately deciding.

Nominated for admission. Notified by email on Sunday evening.
