To the poster below, how did you know you won't get any funding?

Canadian applicant from small Canadian university. Offer of two year TA-ship, two year Master's fellowship and $2,000 entrance scholarship- total offer just under $31,000 CAD over 2 years. Letter was very friendly and assigned thesis supervisor looks great. Considering, but waiting for results from other universities first.

Theory subfield. Email to check portal. GPA is for MA.

Anyone heard from NYU Politics dept recently? reject? admits?

Had to call and was told that if I haven't heard anything so far, that means I am on the wait-list. Lowest ranked school I applied to and already got into better places. Won't accept even if I get off the wait-list. Congrats to all accepted!

Moved to Board of Graduate Studies 9/2/17. Self service website updated yesterday to 'Conditional Offer Made' with official offer e-mailed today. Canadian applicant (GPA: 4.09/4.3).

Emailed to find out when we will be notified, got a reply with the rejection letter. Beyond disappointed.

I am in! Balliol College it is!

Accepted last year but chose to defer a year.

Checked Camsis, the decision was there, but no email notification yet.

Notified via e-mail. Thankfully, they had the courtesy to inform me of why I was not accepted. I was not the right fit for the department. I suspected as much when applying, so I suppose I'm glad to know that my instincts were right. Perhaps the schools for which I thought I was the right fit will work out...

Why we love this internet website because we always love to open discussions of Knowledge and wisdom. But present them on lawful writings.
