I interviewed with them on Friday, February 18th, 2022. I got their acceptance notification on Wednesday February 23rd, 2022. No GRE required.

Literally I was so excited, I blacked out for like 5 days and just forgot to post this, but guess who's going to Iowa (it's me)!!!

Have an interview before.

That was the first email I got from ISU. It gives no email notification during the application process, and its system is complicated. Ignore this result, I'll keep waiting for other decisions.

I am literally SCREAMING RIGHT NOW, THIS IS MY DREAM SCHOOL

I feel so incredibly surprised and honored - I'm a pretty unique applicant and had a really strong personal/critical thinking statement, which I feel made up for my lower-than-average cumulative GPA! 3.97 major GPA, volunteered abroad with SLPs, lab experience, leadership experience, & am a first gen student from a low-opportunity background.

Are there applicants accepted at Iowa state university in PhD education? We can plan for a chat before the orientation or simply get in contact to discuss about different things.

Very excited, first acceptance! 3.99 CSD and cumulative GPA, research and clinical experience, NSSLHA secretary and president, co-founded AAC student organization, CSD course tutor
