I got accepted fresh out of undergrad with a 3.8 GPA. I was TA and worked a few campus work-study jobs in undergrad, had a fellowship and got a paper published. I felt like those, along with my SOP and letters of rec, were the strongest parts of my application. I did poorly on the GRE and had to retake an intro to stats class during undergrad. Congrats to everyone who got in.

I applied for fall 2022 admittance not spring 2022

Got an email to check my portal. I studied in global health and climate change in my undergrad. I believe I had a very applicable and strong background, application, LORs, field experience, etc. Did not submit GRE. I also communicated with the program director + coordinator multiple times, and think that was a big factor in my acceptance!

Acceptance letter didn't say anything about funding. Anyone know if funding will be offered at some point?

Didn't submit GRE. Letters of rec, overall experience, and language abilities stood out for the admissions committee.

Off the waitlist! As this is days after the deadline, I will decline the offer. I received a call, which went to voicemail, and then the director followed up via email. I did not receive any information on funding in this initial communication.

Admitted with funding & a stipend.

I was told that I will hear back in May 2021 about their decision.

Email from POI, Official letter came in 4/12

Asked for additional info/MCAT plan of action and for updated resumé with hours listed. Said I could be waiting until August 2021

The official response came 9 pm at night. Straight out of undergrad, English background, 3 years of Arabic, no Middle East internship/work experiences (yet). Waiting for a rejection/acceptance off of the waitlist, should be coming in the next couple of weeks.
