I don't really think they reviewed the majority of applications! High GPA + Research Experience + Great academic background, I got an offer from U Waterloo CS but got rejected from McGill. How ridiculous.

Those who got into ms in CS thesis this year in McGill ,you will win the next nobel prize or Turing award for sure.

After submitting my application back in January, I just received an email today regarding the refusal of my application. I didn't really get surprised as I got accepted to the ECE program back in March and I sorta knew after this long wait, because my application was always shown as "Submitted" and I don't even think they reviewed so many applications this year due to large volume of applicants (2000). My GPA is 3.87 and I've got IELTS 7.5. But still, I'm going to McGill so. Congrats to everyone who got into them program.

Not unexpected. A few years of technical work experience, no research experience. Did not interview. Domestic applicant. Shot my shot. Best of luck everyone else!

Ignore wl. Does anyone have any clue when they'll release results or do we assume reject by now? Has anyone received interviews, if so did the PoI share any info? [intl students mainly]

I had an interview on 17th March. POI selected me on 19th March. My application is under review by the department from 25th March. Is there any body who receive admission letter from McGill Human Genetics Department for Ph.D thesis base program??

Email to check portal for refusal letter

I had been waitlisted on March 13th. Got my rejection today. Tough year!

Ignore wl. When is the last date to expect a decision from McGill Physics? Anybody has any updates?

Got accepted. Basically a Development Professional with a almost 10-years of working experience with Not-for-Profits and Public Sector. Did graduation from UK. Thank God!!!

Finally heard something from McGill, got an e-mail to check portal. I had almost forgotten I applied to this program since I never heard from them and got other offers several WEEKS ago including my top choice school with full funding. Generic rejection letter. Congrats to everyone who got in and will be attending in the fall.

Was initially told there would not be a spot for me this year, but they came back and sent me an offer! Thrilled!

End of the cycle for me . 2a /9r.
