On behalf of the Graduate Field Faculty in Computer Science, I regret to inform you that we cannot offer you admission to the Ph.D. Program in Robotics, Ph.D. at Cornell University this year. We received an exceptionally high number of applications this year, and the overall quality of candidates was outstanding. Unfortunately, due to limited space in our program, we were not able to offer admission to many highly qualified individuals, including yourself. Thank you again for considering Cornell University, and we wish you continued success.

Received a generic rejection email. Had two interviews. No update on the portal.

Emailed rejection. Short.

E-mail with notice of rejection. No interview, didn’t reach out to faculty prior to applying.

I have multiple dominated (Published) papers, but still close to be rejected all, Crazyyyyyyyyyy. I want to say, connection is everything.

My first offer, I have multiple dominated (Published) papers, but still close to be rejected all, CRAZYYYYYYYY

Knew chances miniscule, applied anyway but at least now I won't regret not applying

4 years of research experience, 1 2nd author publication and 8 poster presentations at national conferences. Went to Xavier University of Louisiana for undergrad. Visited under the selective Experience Cornell program in the Fall of 2024. Got essay reviews and met and connected with professors. I'm very surprised at the outcome.

Accepted with 12.5k per semester award. Significant internships and strong letter of recomendation.

I got interviewed on 02/04 and have not heard back anything (neither positive nor negative). For people who interviewed around the same time, is anyone else also waiting for a decision? Also, has anyone received negative/rejections already?
