How do you speak with an admissions coordinator? I keep receiving automated emails from them saying they cannot reply to me.

TTPB - I also feel that these posts are fake; nothing seems genuine about them. Also, Stanford almost always releases both accepts and rejects at the same time and so far no rejects have been posted, which makes all this even harder to believe.

I am feeling these are definitely fake. For one they are seemed to be equally distributed across all the different cases of admits. Seems like someone brainstorming what different admits would say. And number two, Stanford usually posts results at the end of the third week of March which in this case is Friday the 20th. It would be very strange for them to post results this early--it has never happened since gradcafe has been compiling results. Also none of the "admits" are acknowledging the other posters. Fake news.

For the people below me posting notes, please don't use the "accepted" decision. It gave me a heart attack for a second thinking that the decisions were out.

TTPB, Can you share the details of the e-mail? I am undergraduate at Stanford, with a co-author paper and haven't heard back yet.

TTPB: why do you say bloodbath, are there fewer number of PhD accepts this year?

The no.of PhD results posted here shows that there will be a bloodbath when the Masters results come out. TTPB: They generally release most of the results on March 14-16th pocket.

TTPB: In the past, MS in CS decisions have not come out until mid March.

My friend who got into berkeley and mit got rejected from stanford. My other friend who got into cmu, uw, and mit got rejected from stanford. Who does get into Stanford CS????

Would people be interested in creating a twitter thread of CS PhD rejection letters? For schools that shared how many applicants there were, this thread can share this information. In addition, it will motivate these schools to write better/nicer/more thoughtful rejection letters!!
