has anyone heard anything from the NYU Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. program????????? I wrote the admissions board about two weeks ago and they told me that they are still evaluating candidates, but the deadline to make decisions regarding grad school is next Monday!!!!!

Contacted by 2 professors (11/21/23, 12/30/23) Had 1 informal interview (1/8/24). No communication since then. Received email to check status on the portal

Yeah this was not a surprise

2 years of UG research, one REU at Ivy league, def was expecting to get admitted but the fact that I still had no decision until now gave it away.

I had an interview on Feb 15. They said they would send out admission offers on week from March 3-10. I have not heard back anything, so I am pretty sure I am waitlisted. If you have a better offer, please reject it as soon as you can. This is my last chance.

On 13th March was waitlisted, but on 25th March got the acceptance letter

Recommended for admission 3 days after in-person interview! PI reached out to accept me as well, yesterday. Official letter by the end of the week.
