Got an email to check portal

To the poster below, I think all offers have been most likely been sent by now. The virtual tour was last weekend. I contacted the department to get a status update, but I think it's safe to say I was rejected. I have over 7 publications and a Master's degree. Oh well :/

Received an email from Penn SEAS to check my online application account to view decision. Interviewed Feb. 11-13.

Wonder if all bioengineering offers sent out. Interviewed weeks ago but nothing heard back since then. Thanks

Emailed professors, spoke with 2 prior to being invited to recruitment event (2/5/21). Interviewed with 5 professors over 2 days and met grad students. Offer letter came 3 weeks later via email

To the person below: I had interview with one PI in early Feb (worked with him during my undergrad, imaging-related). He said last week that he had some conversation with the department about my admission. So I assume that my case might be a bit earlier than others. Good luck!

To the person accepted below: Did you go through an interview and did the POI give you a heads up on the decision or did you get accepted all of a sudden? Nevertheless, congrats!

Got emailed by a PI who is conducting research in my field of interest for a zoom interview!

Finally a rejection mail. Had not heard anything since my application back in December.

Paid $100 to wait 3 months to hear back with the most generic rejection letter. Just send decisions out earlier or at least keep applicants updated throughout the process smh..
