Does anyone hear back from the university after the interview?

Does anyone know when we'll hear from UD? The deadline was dumped back a month so I'm wondering how much that will change their timeline.

Got an email that my status had been updated and to check the site. Also received an email from the dept head stating they cannot offer me funding. Will still consider this but it's a likely no. (BA 2015: Spanish, MA 2016: Instruction, teaching Spanish as a second language in Denver ever since.)

Is there any chat group for U Del admitted students ?

There are a lot of CIS PhD student don't have funding in first year... only a few professors can provide RA in CIS. And it is hard for self-funding students apply for TA after they come to UD. Because instead of giving TA to old self-funding students, UD prefer to give TA to new students who have higher TOEFL scores. So! Please be careful if want to accept doctor admission by self-funding.

To the University of Delaware poster - I was in a similar situation last year with this school and was also rejected. This year I was accepted, and I barely had any contact with them other than to see if my POI was accepting students. I know it's difficult to hear, but stay strong and be persistent! This is my fourth round of applications and I've finally gotten multiple acceptances.

Reached out to department and was told "We just completed our admissions review within the last week. I regret to inform you that you have not been amongst those accepted into our program during that review process. Please note that we have had many competitive applications this year. We understand that this is a difficult process for students who are weighing their options. However, normally, we do not inform students that they have not been accepted until some weeks hence, as sometimes the situation changes and we are able to move applicants up. What I can tell you right now is that it is highly unlikely that you will be accepted into our program." I have an MA in History of Art & Archaeology, have worked with museums before and curated exhibits. Emails with department before application were promising, not sure where I went wrong.

Received admission decision yesterday from graduate office. Received Funding for the 1st year (TA) from the department. Also invited for a paid visit in Mid March.

Did anybody hear any news about funding from the Mechanical Engineering Department? Got the acceptance letter only. No news of funding.

Has anyone heard from the behavioral neuroscience department? Interviewed on 1/24 and still haven't heard back
