One of the coldest rejections I've received so far.

After consultation with the program and after a thorough evaluation of your credentials by The Graduate School, I regret to inform you that you have been denied admission for graduate study to the Chemical and Biological Engineering: PHD program at Northwestern University. Because your interest in the University is deeply appreciated, this decision is not easy to convey. Though your plans cannot be accommodated at Northwestern University, the faculty and administrators of The Graduate School respect your intellectual ambition and wish you success in attaining your goal of advanced study.

My dream school

Very excited to hear the news. Had a round of interviews of 6 faculties and each for half an hour.

The email stated my application is still being considered for the Masters program. 3 years research experience in undergrad. 2 internships. >3 years in biologics/pharma industry

Got email saying my decision letter was available in my application portal. Generic rejection letter.

It seems that rejection letter also come out in batches.
