Graduated Valedictorian and lots of research experience

Interviewed in late January by three professors. Completely technical and detailed: they do not even let you introduce yourself. I am ashamed to say that I did not spend too much time preparing. Just make sure you understand every piece of your CV you will be fine. For example, if you mentioned Logistic regression model, what's the output? what does the coefficient mean? how do you interpret the result?...

Rejected on the portal today, after having been at the 'under review by the Degree Committee' stage for a few days, thus having passed the Department's assessment and being recommended for consideration by the Degree Committee. I am currently enroled in a programme at Cambridge, did my masters at a top UK institution - with Merit - and have 5 years of experience in the working sector, including RA positions. Best of luck to the ones that really want to get in, guys!

Rejection in the portal at around 2pm this afternoon.

Conditional offer

Rejected by degree committee.

Three years of legal and political experience post-grad, Division 1 student-athlete (probably hurt more than helped here), undergraduate research experience, strong letters of recommendation from partners that specialise in impact, policy-heavy work, international study abroad school with honours. Did not perform well on GRE, so did not include.

PAO on Jan 27th, Conditional Offer on Feb 3rd - first acceptance, super excited!

I sent the application in last minute, so a rejection was accepted. 1/7

4 years of Physics undergraduate from a premier institution of India, with 1 year of research experience in Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics. Applied: 6th Jan, PAO: 7th Feb

Quite a surprising result, given that I made it to the Degree committee (the faculty approved my application, which I'd think is most important).
