Was accepted w/ funding

To the poster below, last week, I also received an invitation for the formal dinner. I had an interview with two professors from this program in February.

Saw the comments here and logged into the website. Said decision was available. Clicked on link, which told me I was accepted. I am so incredibly happy. Best of luck to everyone who is waiting, especially the Columbia kids. AHHHHH

I don't know any of you guys, but I'd like to think of you as family. This forum is the only thing that's keeping me sane. I wouldn't have survived last week (and this week) if it weren't for y'all. I really wish you guys the best of luck! And I'd be really happy if one of you guys takes my spot if I don't get admitted.

To the people asking about Columbia. I can assure you today is not the day. The storm here is massive. It's sleeting and we have 50 mph of wind and literally everything is shut down -- EVEN our mas transit. I imagine no one would send them from their home computer lol. I'm leaning towards tomorrow, but we only have three more days of wallowing at most

I'm yet to hear from the admissions office. Feeling really tensed now. Is it a negative sign that I have yet not received any communication?

Columbia University offices are closed today except for essential personnel (which doesn't include admissions people). Idk if that means we won't today for sure or not.

Hey! I have a question but it might sound silly (excuse me, I don't live in the US). If there's a snowstorm hitting NYC today, is the admissions office closed? I'm just asking to know if there's the slightest chance we'd find out today.

Why are you doing this to us, Columbia!?

Posters below who were accepted today, what did your letter say and your financial aid information? I got my acceptance February from Colleen. It said this: "Thank you for your outstanding application to the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. I wanted to be the first to welcome you to the Class of 2018! This was a competitive year and we received many qualified applications. However, having spent the last several months learning about our applicants, I believe you would be a terrific addition to our community." BUT i haven't heard anything about aid!!! I also applied for the McGraw Business Scholarship. Was your aid in a separate letter? Is it in the portal?

Still waiting for CUNY!! It's killing me ....

To the poster below, my portal looks the same, still says "APPLICATION STATUS: SUBMITTED." The email have a "congrats" message in the subject line. Hope this helps.
