Campus interviews were last week. So excited!

$12500 stipend

Granted in state tuition with 50% tuition waiver, as well as a scholarship (amount to be determined) that is supposed to cover a substantial portion of the remaining tuition costs. Health insurance. $7,688 stipend for living expenses.

email from DGS, official letter to come

Recommended for admission, TA stipend and 50% in-state tuition waiver!

Unofficial email from DGS, official letter to follow shortly

Pre-Doctoral fellowship. Not surprising but disappointing.

UK student. Unofficial notification from the Faculty, awaiting approval by GAO. Unsurprisingly, no funding. I applied with a First in Philosophy from a good UK institution on the basis of my undergraduate strength in ancient philosophy (read mostly in translation), and geared my research proposal towards ancient philosophy and classical reception.

I do appreciate a physical paper rejection that you can satisfyingly rip into a million pieces. It also featured my absolute least favorite line, something like "we hope you are successful in gaining admission to another graduate program" because it reminds me that not only did they reject me, but so did everyone else! I love my life!!!

Email to check portal. Generic email from dean of grad schools (none from faculty yet)

Cordial signed rejection letter.

Received offer four days following the interview
