Interview with my top choice poi, told me that I will hear back in 2 to 4 weeks

3.8 at current institution, 3.9 cumulative; 2 terms research experience (no publications), 2 industry internships

Interview with potential PI in December, accepted in 3rd January

International student, direct PhD, 1 publication, 2 poster, 1 oral presentation.

didn't receive the interview so will probably be rejected formally soon. Applied for the control track. Anyone from the same track has received any updates?

Got rejected for aerospace engineering (MEng) but they transferred my application to engineering practice (Mechanical) and got an offer. Probably because my major in undergrad is mechanical engineering. No GRE. International student. This site helped me a lot giving me references. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

Applied for MEng last year late Nov and made sure everything was submitted by Jan. My undergrad is mechanical engineering. Have to do IELTS score over 7 though. No GRE needed but still missing last semester's result to confirm the offer. Good luck everyone!

Contacted the PI in November, then went through several interviews and tasks till now. I have a master's degree with 3.5/4.0 GPA, no GRE.

Did not complete an application due to the omission of one LOR. Received a mail asking if I'd like to be considered for MS admission.

First author for one SCIE paper and one domestic paper, and two oral presentations at domestic conferences, contact failed, low undergrad GPA, low GRE, not a good research fit.
