Invitation for preliminary interview from POI

emailed to offer preliminary interview

Initially on the waitlist, been told that I was posited high on the list. Notified by the DGS that their spots have been filled this year on April 12th. Super bummed as it was my top choice. Congrats to those who are admitted!

For any curious future applicants, this cycle has been relatively odd, as official decisions were posted near the deadline due to extenuating administrative circumstances. A month ago, everyone got letters letting them know their likelihood of getting in.

Not an actual waitlist. I called this Monday and final decisions were made *Friday last week*. Has anyone heard back yet? Very confused.

This is ridiculous...A university of rank 422 in engineering and technology rejects you, but you get admitted to a rank 34th university...

I had my interview at the end of January. It was good too. Not in my luck

Off the waitlist!! So excited

Engineering major, 3.3 GPA Bachelors student. Three secondary author publications in journals with impact factors >6, one first author work in progress. Generic rejection email. Annoying - they claimed to be emphasizing research experience this cycle and yet multiple people who got offers for this program that I know had little research experience and no publications. Worth applying since it was free though!

Ignore waitlist has anyone heard anything from Vanderbilt?

Has anyone received funding/scholarship info from Vanderbilt yet?
