I received an email at 5:18 pm that an admission decision is available. I logged into my portal and clicked on "status update." I clicked it, and to my surprise saw the confetti coming down my acceptance letter! I completely BOMBED my GRE's but I maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout undergraduate, research experience, and multiple clinical volunteer opportunities and a statement of purpose that I dedicated roughly 4 months to editing until I felt like I had a solid, strong one. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!! For those who are waiting to hear back, I was told that there will be some variations when it comes to the release of admissions decisions because TC does not release them all at once!

Did anyone hear anything today? I didn't.

I just happened to check my portal and saw that I was denied. The portal said that this is my "official notification" and that I would not receive any other contact from the University.

3.2 Overall, 3.6 CSD. 154V,141Q,3AW. Bilingual & Highly Interested in their certificate program. Hoping people hear back from their top schools soon, to give us waitlisters a chance. This is my only in person opportunity.

UTD is my top choice so I am so excited! I have research experience, and volunteer at a speech therapy clinic twice a week for the past two semesters!
