Invited for in-person interview at University of Iowa. 3 and 1/2 years of research experience both in school, internships and currently working in the pharmaceutical industry.

CSB Program. Rejection via email, they mentioned they only had 6 seats this year. Bachelors in CS from the US. ~2.5 years of research experience. 2 acceptances at ML conferences, 1 presentation at an international neuroscience forum. Been a TA for CS classes for 2 years.

1.5 years of research experience. One publication in preprint. 4.0 master's GPA so far. Email to check portal.

No GRE, dual citizen, B.S. in Biology (international) with 3.2 GPA (last two years was around 3.5-3.9), M.S in US State School in Biomedical Sciences (with a project in Bioinformatics) while in Masters took CS classes from programming, data structures, Software Dev and Software Engineering, I think these helped a lot to built an active GitHub profile too! I also worked as a technician and RA before doing a master's for about 4 years in different academic labs, I have two papers as 3rd and 4th author, one in nature! No conferences, no poster presentations. Also, this is my third cycle of applying, wish me luck for this time! I need to get in, gosh darn it!! Don't lose hope, you got this!!!!

No GRE, dual citizen, Biology background, studied internationally for undergraduate with 3.2 GPA in Biology, masters in Biomedical Sciences (project in Bioinformatics) in US state school with 3.7 GPA while doing masters I took several CS classes expanding from Data Structures to Software Engineering. Worked as RA in research labs for 4 years. 1 paper in Nature as 3rd author, no posters or conferences.

Master's GPA 4.0. I didn't expect an acceptance since I didn't contact an advisor. No email notification, just on the portal.
