Some research experience, no publications. Probably wasn't the best fit but applied anyway.

GPA:9.4, BTech in CS from top 5 IITs, 1.5 yrs work experience, no research paper. First rejection.

Kinda expected but it's really sad to see that no one got accepted. Looks like deferrals from Fall 20 definitely screwed this admission season. Hope this does not happen with other universities

Rejected :( but atleast there was closure. Good GPA, LoRs and a couple of conference publications with about 18 months of work ex. Can someone who did manage an admit please share their profile.

2 papers under review, ece branch, tier 3 college india. Kinda expected!

Got interviewed on 2nd February, informal chat with the professor about the research directions of his group and how I might fit in. Had a good feeling about how the interview went, received an email stating financial support today.

1 NeurIPS paper, first author, strong letters. Had a great interview with POI.

GPA: 3.6/4, GRE: 159V, 165Q, Area of Interest: NLP, CV, Algorithms. Most of my core CS classes are Bs so that was probably why I got rejected.
